The Forge Insight Limited, trading as Forge (Forge), is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information.

This privacy notice describes how we collect and use your personal information when you are invited to appear as a guest on Forge’s podcast, The Persuasion Game, whether that is a live session or a virtual session.

What personal information will we collect from you?

The personal information we will collect from you includes your name and contact details, such as your phone number and email address, job title, headshot and recordings (including voice and image). We also collect any notes confirming the content of briefing calls with us and any input you provide in shaping the discussion and content of the session.

What will we do with your personal information?

Forge will only use your personal information for the purpose of hosting The Persuasion Game. We will publish the content on various channels and podcast platforms, including but not limited to Forge’s website, LinkedIn, YouTube, Spotify and Apple Podcasts. 

Forge is the “data controller” of the personal information you provide us with. This means that Forge decides what your personal information will be used for, and the ways in which it is processed. The legal basis on which Forge processes your personal information is our legitimate interest in producing content for The Persuasion Game and for general marketing purposes. If we need to rely on our legitimate interest in processing your personal information, we will carefully consider and balance our interests in processing your information against any impact on your individual rights and freedoms and will not use your personal information where such impact overrides our interests.

How long will we keep your information?

We will keep original recordings of the session for three years. Any edited recordings will be kept permanently so that Forge can publish them on our website and use them for marketing purposes. You may also use the edited recordings as you wish, including for brand promotion.  

If you wish for us to delete or withdraw your content from The Persuasion Game at any time, you may contact us in writing to do so.

Who do we share your information with?

We will only share your personal information with our podcast agency for the purpose of editing and promoting The Persuasion Game and third-party storage providers that are based outside the UK and EEA. We will not share your personal information with any other third parties without your consent.
